Perched on a bluff overlooking the Neuse River, nestled among ancient oaks and pines –you'll discover the magic of CALL MY BLUFF cottage located next door to the Journey's End cottage. The shared 70' dock provides ample space for gathering over coffee in the mornings, sunsets in the evening, relaxing, fishing and enjoying the views of water foul along the river. Dolphin frequent the waters off of the dock. Conveniently located between Camps Seagull and Seafarer, the cottage is only 10 minutes away from Oriental, the sailing capitol of North Carolina. A free ferry ride across the Neuse and a short drive will take you to Beaufort, Morehead City, and the world-renowned beaches of the Crystal Coast. Historic New Bern is just up the river, and the tri-county area has an abundance of restaurants – from Mom'n'Pop shrimp burgers to 4-star International Cuisine. CALL MY BLUFF cottage features a painted white pine interior with one bedroom, a large open living space, and a stocked kitchen. A waterfront screened porch and deck with expansive river views and continuous breezes will be the perfect beginning to your CALL MY BLUFF cottage stay. Cottage accomodates five, and rents from Saturday to Saturday. Long-term renting available. Perfect for honeymooners!!

Call My Bluff hosted by Ms. Terry & is an excellent property. This is our 2nd weeklong stay while our kiddo is at one of the nearby camps during the day. Highlights for me were the peaceful moments on the hammock, or having morning coffee on the back porch looking out at the expansive river view. Highlights for the family were fishing on the dock & spending late afternoons in the pool. Don’t feel like cooking, then nearby Oriental has you covered. Need a a fun activity for the family, Aurora Fossil museum is a short drive away. We’ll be coming back for years to come.

Really cute getaway cabin! Quiet. Nice to sit out and watch the wildlife out on the deck and dock.

One of the most relaxing places we've stayed! Sitting on the screen porch overlooking the river was lovely. Even in the hot afternoon, the breeze from the river was refreshing. Terry is an attentive and thoughtful host. The rustic cottage was charming and well equipped for our stay.
