This charming bungalow is steps away from the beach access at the Ocean Grill Tiki. You can hear the ocean from the screened in porch out back or out front on a huge deck with picnic table. One block from the ocean, this house has been completely renovated yet still has the cottage nostalgia when it was a barracks. There is plenty of outdoor living space as well as a yard perfect for corn hole, grilling out or enjoying your family and friends in the privacy of the back yard (fence). Fully remodeled in 2020 (new floors, new decks, bathroom and kitchen with a screened in porch addition), this house is perfect for up to six people. There is enough room in the driveway to bring your boat or park three cars.

The host was responsive and helpful. This property was an easy couple minutes walk to the beach and tiki bar. We had perfect weather and were able to enjoy the screened in back porch and outside shower. The bathroom and main living area is on the small side. This property is a great choice if the beach is your main destination and you're not looking for the house to be the main hangout place. They are also starting construction on a home in front of the property. We would highly recommend taking the car ferry to Southport!

We came down to Carolina Beach and stayed in celebration of our daughter's birthday...Let me just say this little bungalow is adorable!!! All the amenities you could possibly need!!! Even had a pier cart in the out building we took fishing on Kure Beach Pier!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend. We are talking about staying once a year now we had such a great experience!!!

We stayed at this amazing, cute home and have so many nice things to say! Because of my autoimmune disease, we requested a completely fragrance-free stay with no candles, plug-ins, or harsh cleaning chemicals. The owners completely understood and accommodated us. The house was exceptionally clean, bright, and cozy.We cooked at home every day using the well-stocked kitchen. Unlike other rentals with dull knives or missing can openers, we were very impressed by the quality of the utensils provided here. The mattresses were incredibly comfortable, and the big TV screen was perfect for family downtime. Outside, the Adirondack chairs and picnic table were great for chilling out, and the outdoor shower was a fantastic bonus.Convenience and location are huge pluses for this property. We were within walking distance of beach access, restaurants, the lake, dessert shops, and fishing charters. Additionally, the owner was highly responsive whenever we had questions. While having only one bathroom might cause some travelers to hesitate, don't let that discourage you from booking "Pistachio's." Making that small sacrifice is absolutely worth the comfortable beds, cleanliness, and unbeatable location.
