Beautifully situated 11-person country house with sauna, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, located on the blackwater river with views of the mountains. Ideal holiday for people who love peace, fishing, hunting, hiking and skiing or. Housing is equipped with all facilities just a few miles from the National Park and Cairngorm Ski Resort near some of the most famous tourist destinations in Scotland

Great spot for a group of 10 (including small kids) for a long weekend visiting the Cairngorms. Big kitchen, bright group space, and lots of room in bedrooms.Decor was a bit tired, some attention was needed to the outside space, which the owners were aware of and provided notice, but overall we were very comfortable and had a great trip.Coffee was a challenge for us - they have a Dolce Gusto machine, which we didn’t have pods for… and not many coffee options close by! If you’re heading into the Cairngorms stop at Bothy’s in Braemar for a cappuccino :)

Lovely house … we had a great stay .. a few wee minor issues Some chairs a little wobbly , 11 of us but not all able to get round the dining table .. decking damaged .. was a sign to say it was to be fixed but with the rain the guttering just leaked all the time .. there’s a lovely log fire but you need to bring your own logs

Very spacious and comfortable house in a lovely, quiet location. The bedrooms are all a generous size, as is the well-equipped kitchen (we managed to prepare a 7-course meal for the 6 of us). It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house

Nice big roomy house its lovely and an added bonus the river at the bottom of the garden as my son loves fishing it was our treat to him we celebrated his 60th Birthday there
