We had a wonderful stay! The house is perfect for a group. Very clean and spacious! It's only a 10-15 min walk to the center of town so it's in a great location. Patrick was a fantastic host! Highly recommend staying at Ad Astra if you're visiting Killarney.

This house is set up as a B & B, not a family rental.
Individual rooms with en suite; but no family bath.
The only cooking utensils were from a grill set.
Two small sauce pans, nothing to prepare or serve a family meal or even s salad.
On the second and sixth mornings, there was no water.
We were told to carry buckets up to the rooms to flush.
We left a day early with no acknowledgment nor refund from the "host".
We have rented homes all over the world-at least 20 of them through VRBO. We have been to Ireland many times; my wife and her Mom are Irish. We were a family group of 10 adults. I can say with some authority that this was substandard.
