A fully equipped, recently built (2003) beach home with two comfy bedrooms with yummy queen beds, a great room, a private deck outside the kitchen, and a cozy, romantic rooftop living room or a back yard jacuzzi with ocean views and starry, starry nights. Our beach house and decks are protected from the strong winds that buffet the bluffside. Take a walk down the nature path or the road past Pomo Lake to the private, gated beach for five miles of sandy coast, dramatic rocks, and lively tidepools to explore. Or just cross the road and enjoy the thick Mendocino forest. Our home is two fully independent duplexes. Sarah and I have the smaller one bedroom south side, but we are rarely in residence. If by chance we are there during your visit, we are especially quiet and considerate.

The location is great with amazing views from the living room! The house is big and had a fireplace and comfy seating.Although it wasn’t super clean, it worked for us. When we stayed the owner was also there and we heard him opening and shutting the garage which is under the living room and was a little weird. They were also doing Laundry late at night which was a bit loud since it’s right out the front door. the listing did say that it was a split house and the owners could be there and they would be super quiet. That was not the case.Also the beach is not a private beach. Meaning you are not the only people there. It’s a beautiful beach though and is a few minutes drive from the houseOverall the location wins and the house is a good reprieve from the city and is close to point arena!

Was a nice secluded home for a few days. The stars are so bright and plentiful, saw many shooting stars. The hot tub was a nice addition.

Our stay was fantastic! And amazing spot to have a getaway vacation. The nearest grocery store is a tad more expensive than your standard big city, but the butcher had some great meats. We deeply appreciated our host, who we met the first night. He was friendly and responsive. After the first night, we had the property to ourselves! Sitting along the giant windows and reading was our favorite indoor activity and our dogs loved the beach.
