This house has a six (6) person guest limit. This is not a "party house". If that's what you want, that's fine, but please look elsewhere, because loud and late parties will be shut down, and eviction may occur. Small, relatively quiet gatherings are welcome.
This quaint updated mid-century modern home features woodgrain vinyl planking installed 12/2021 over a cork underlayment providing a soft and quiet surface for your bare feet, updated kitchen and bath with granite counters. One of the best canal water views on Galveston's West End with lots of windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has 4 single beds (including daybed with trundle).
NOTE:
Amenities Include: Central air/heat, TV's in all rooms living room and both bedrooms, Internet, DVD player (with selection of DVD movies), gas BBQ grill, 2 kayaks, plenty of outdoor furniture including dining table.
Microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, air fryer, dishes, toaster, linens and towels furnished. Public boat launch at Jamaica Beach marina.
Pets OK with upon approval and $100/pet non-refundable deposit. Non-aggressive breeds only.
No smoking except outside - NO BUTTS ON THE GROUND PLEASE!
Pool (located next to the City Park on Jolly Roger Rd/Bob Smith Rd) is open daily (except Tuesday's) from 10:00AM to 8:00 PM between mid-May thru mid-September (weather permitting). Passes are required and not provided.
A few short minutes to: THE BEACH! 2 restaurants (plus Subway), grocery store, liquor store, golf cart/water sports rental, home furnishings/gift/boutique shop, and...Buck's West Bar
20 minutes to Moody Gardens & Schlitterbahn
25 minutes Historical Pleasure Pier
30 minutes to The Strand
You can usually check-in earlier than 4. Even if another guest is checking out the day of your arrival, the house is typically cleaned and ready by 2:30 (or earlier) after which you are welcome to check-in. Late check-out can be accommodated upon request if no guests are booked to check-in that day.

Fantastic place to stay at in the Galveston, Jamaica beach area. The accuracy of the listing was spot on, the place is really nice with good furniture and an abundance, I mean, abundance, of kitchen supplies for cooking. Air conditioner works fantastic, the sheets and the beds were comfortable.This may be petty, but it’s so convenient. So many houses I’ve been to don’t have garbage disposals in the kitchen. Thank you for putting in a garbage disposal!Bathrooms were clean, water gets hot, there are numerous options for making coffee and even an ice cream maker and a blender.Chairs and overall seating was in great condition and very comfortable. Fans everywhere! Great location on the water.And above all one of the most important things about renting a property is communication. The owner, Matthew, was a great with his communication if we had questions. Quick to respond and clear. If I HAD to choose something I would change I would try to put a larger bed in the main bedroom, but the size of the room may not be great for that. Loved the place! Thanks Matthew!

We had a great time staying here. The house was very clean and spacious. The host was readily available if I had any questions or issues. The house is right on the water which is what we were looking for. It's in a very nice neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. Right down the road from the city park with a great pool, and a short drive down to the beach. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Great spot! Love the view of the canal and the windows to look out of. The dogs loved it! Bummer that one of the kayaks was unavailable for use, but we made the most of it! Host had detailed descriptions and made sure the house was at a comfortable temperature when we arrived.

This property was great and the host had excellent communication, friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that we were expecting the lower deck area to have the comfy furniture it showed in their pictures. The furniture shown was not there, which was hugely disappointing. The expected outdoor experience was the main reason we chose this rental. Otherwise, the house was great! Plenty of hot water and the a/c worked perfectly.
