Villa Demetra 1768 is a beautifully restored historic residence dating back to 1768, combining traditional Kefalonian architecture with modern comforts.
The house features two bedrooms, a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom, accommodating up to 5 guests. Surrounded by a peaceful garden, traditional courtyards and a private swimming pool, it offers the perfect setting for relaxing holidays in northern Kefalonia.
The property includes air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi internet access and private parking, while the kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils for a comfortable stay. The house is secured with private gates, ensuring privacy and tranquility.
Villa Demetra 1768 is located in the traditional village of Markantonata, just 500 meters from Antipata and only 3 km from the picturesque harbor village of Fiskardo, famous for its waterfront restaurants, cafés and beautiful beaches.

The atmosphere of the house is truly unique, as the renovation was carried out with great respect for the history and tradition of the building.
In the garden, guests can still see the traditional “lino” and “podohi”, where grapes were once pressed to produce wine, offering a glimpse into the island’s rural heritage. The kitchen also preserves the original stone-built oven, adding to the authentic character of the house.
Villa Demetra 1768 offers a peaceful environment ideal for families or couples seeking relaxation, surrounded by lush greenery and the charm of a traditional village. At the same time, the lively atmosphere and nightlife of cosmopolitan Fiskardo are only a 5-minute drive away.

In the garden, ancient olive trees and other shade trees create a relaxing natural setting.

• The second courtyard is located at the main entrance, featuring an outdoor lounge and a traditional stone-built bench, perfect for relaxing in the evening.

We are a family of 4 from Australia and stayed at the house for almost a week. The house is very well equipped with air conditioning and heating. And a fully equipped kitchen with lots of helpful ingredients in the cupboards to ensure a comfortable stay.
We enjoyed both outside living areas. One area just outside the kitchen for breakfast and another area to enjoy the evening shade.
The house is located is a very quiet village and is a walk away from a couple of taverns and general store. It’s a great spot to explore the gorgeous beaches all around Fiskardo.
Demitra was a very helpful and attentive host and we look forward to hopefully visiting again!
