The location was great! The dock was new and didn’t have a ladder to get out of water and this was a big problem.

We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us.

We would have brought our kayaks but listing said they’re available in dock-nope, just an old canoe. We shared our kitchen with a mouse (somewhere). There were killed bugs on ceilings and walls. Pillows were next to nothing stuffing wise, sheets from Dollar Tree.
Upside-beautiful views, safe cabin, everyone in all cabins were lovely and friendly. The cabin is ok if you don’t mind no frills. We will definitely go back to the area but will stay in a different VRBO.
