Renovated oceanfront private home (sleeps 11) with Jacuzzi!
Ol Charmer offers the authentic character of all an original Fernandina beach house yet completely renovated with all the benefits of a new home. Direct access to the beach and oceanfront views that boasts from expansive porches make this property so desirable.
Upon entering the home guests are welcomed by the original 1925 characteristics that make this property unique such as shiplap walls and hardwood floors mixed with NEW and repurposed features. The main living area offers a comfortable sectional sofa, Samsung frame TV (online streaming with YouTube TV) and two swivel chairs.
An open floor plan allows the oceanfront views and breeze to sweep effortlessly between the living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is completely new with white cabinets, quarts countertops, a glass backsplash displaying coastal blue tones and stainless-steel appliances. It is well stocked with all the essentials including coffee maker (drip and pod), toaster, blender, cookware etc.
The master bedroom faces the ocean with a King bed, dresser, closet, TV and connecting bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Downstairs you will find two rooms with a Queen bed, dresser, closet and TV. The fourth room has a Full bed and three Twin beds uniquely hanging from coastal rope. The second bathroom with a shower/tub combo is just down the hall.
Guests can access one of the two oceanfront porches, gas fire pit, and Jacuzzi that faces the ocean. The laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer provides a separate exit that leads to the outdoor shower. This amenity is extremely convenient when walking up from the beach.
Four bikes, beach chairs, wagon, boogie boards and beach towels along with fresh linens, towels and a starter kit of disposables are provided (travel size shampoo/conditioner and body wash along with limited number laundry pods, dish pods, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and one sponge.)
This rental is ideal for large families and friends who are seeking the ultimate beach vacation!
We welcome Service dogs to our property for a guest with a disability. Please email us with the answer to the following questions. 1.) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? 2.) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
We will also consider Emotional Support Animals however, this must be approved before your arrival and indicated in writing via email.
Parking is available for three vehicles.
We have one security cameras located on the front porch looking out toward the driveway. They will be on during your stay for safety/security purposes.

We loved our stay at Ol Charmer! The house is super cute - tons of places to sleep and a large living area for us to hang out in. We especially enjoyed the location - beautiful view of the ocean and close to the downtown area. Anything you could possibly need for a beach vacation was provided. Would love to re-book in the future.

6 ladies from my college days came to be together and enjoy Amelia Island. The house was perfect for them. Lovely view, boardwalk access to beach, hot tub, bikes, outdoor fireplace, chairs...Close to town, rec center, Egan's Creek Greenway, Main Beach. Everything to make for a wonderful time. The house is lovely too. Designed with its historical roots intact but also updated. The ice maker stopped working and the maintenance man was super quick and fixed it. I hope to rent it again. One call out - during turtle season close the living room curtains in the evening. I thought the indoor light was dim enough but was not.

Everything was perfection, there were nine of us total, and this was comfortably set up. My three grandsons were able to sleep in the bunk room and the rest of us each at our own bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked, and we actually cooked a delicious Easter meal on Easter Sunday. They have thought of everything here, including bikes, beach toys, beach wagon, we left a few things also that other others can use after us. We tried to keep as much sand under control as possible with so many feet going in and out the side door with the shower absolutely wonderful. The hot tub was perfect and felt good after a long day on the beach. It was a wonderful Easter weekend and we look forward to booking again next year. We played many of the games and read many of the books the book about ole’ Charmer was excellent. I highly recommend that. I would say the communication was outstanding. A highlight where the tortoises and bunny rabbits that were a constant in the backyard, perfect for a Sunday morning Easter egg hunt.

This was the perfect location to celebrate my dad's birthday together as a family! Beautiful views, lots of fun activities (swimming, walking, exploring the downtown), and a table big enough to accommodate a lovely family dinner together!
