Hilton Head Beach & Tennis offers plenty of other opportunities to revel in the great outdoors. The resort includes 2 swimming pools, one of which is the largest outdoor pool on the island, and a children's pool. When you’re not splashing about in the water, you can laze on one of the many poolside loungers. Also outdoors are 10 lighted tennis courts. If you want to practice your swing before hitting the court, there’s a tennis backboard next to the resort’s playground; also next to the playground is a basketball half-court. What’s more, you can rent bikes right on the resort’s premises and ride along the island’s 12 miles of beach or myriad bike paths. If you’d prefer to exercise indoors, head to the air-conditioned fitness center, which is equipped with machines and weights.

Having worked up an appetite after all that exertion, you’re sure to appreciate the resort’s picnic area. Not only can you dine alfresco at one of the many tables, but you can cook outdoors as well, on the area’s grills.

There are also numerous shops and restaurants just a quick drive away, along with several golf courses. Dolphin- and whale-watching tours are a great way to observe local sea life; for birdwatching and the chance to see turtles and even alligators, explore Pinckney Island National Wildlife Preserve. Or drive out to the charming city of Savannah, less than an hour away.

One thing’s for certain: When you stay at Hilton Head Beach & Tennis C204 you’ll never be bored. So make your reservation today, then get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.
