Did not use the kitchen area but the location was great for the price. Check-in and checkout were both fine but the valley parking was congested.

The room was ok, the kitchen area was too small, and the bathroom was cleaned. There was a smell when we enter the room that was not nice. In general it was a very comfortable room that comply with our needs.

We had a blast at castle1033! We really enjoyed being right at the beach and had a fantastic view of the ocean.

Overall the location is good. The hotel is very outdated and needs remodeling. Room was clean and on a great floor. View was very nice.
Communication was good with owner. During my reservation, I was not informed of pool closed due to pending permit. I only found out was I was booked. I was ok with it because of beach, but disappointing.
First time traveling with dog, Overall we enjoyred our stay.
