The Space:
Magical Retreat in Twin Lakes:
Winter Disclosure: 4x4 vehicle recommended for winter months due to steep and slick road conditions.
Location: Perfect for disconnecting and immersing in nature’s beauty.
Main Floor:
-Fully equipped kitchen with crock pot, stovetop popcorn maker, and pressure cooker.
-Cozy living room with Smart TV.
-Primary Ensuite: Queen bed, luxurious shower, and bath tub.
-Additional queen bedroom.
-Bathroom with shower and laundry facilities.
Upstairs:
-Futon in the Loft with a stunning view of the living room.
-Loft Workspace
-Large closed bedroom with queen bed and bunk bed (twin over full).
-Bathroom with shower.
Outdoor Space:
-Fenced in yard for dogs
-Covered deck along the side of the home with large table/chairs and grill.
-Ideal for enjoying morning coffee or sunset cocktails with breathtaking views.
Heating:
There is a fire place in the home that is the main source of heat in the winter, wood is provided. (there is a pellet stove that is inoperable).

We do utilize a weblink outside the platform that directs guests to our guidebook. You will receive an email with this link. This is the ONLY way guests can access check-in information, and facilitates the collection of fees and other special requests/upgraded services we offer.
To protect your stay, you'll choose one of two options during online check-in: a $250 refundable security deposit (a temporary card hold, released after checkout) or a small damage waiver ($10/night, max $80).
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire house, outdoor parking on the side of home will fit several cars. (no covered parking).
The Neighborhood:
Downtown Twin Lakes is just a few minutes away. Leadville is a 20 minute drive with all restaurants, shopping, and entertainment!
Getting Around:
The best way to get around is with a car as there is no public transportation to get to and from this home. In the winter it is best to have four wheel drive and good tires. It is always manageable to get to the home, but we want to be transparent that in the winter the roads could be snow packed.
Other Things to Note:

This property does not have air conditioning.
This property does have heat, however the main source of heat is the fire place and wood is provided.
The pellet stove is inoperable.
The home is pet friendly with a pet fee of $100 +tax for 1 pet and $200 +tax for 2 pets max.
-NO FIREWORKS AT ALL EVER and if we find out about it, you will be fined $500. Due to the location of this property, being secluded in the woods, it will not be tolerated!
-No AC
-There are 2 cameras at the property. Pointed at the Driveway and front door
Please NO parties, NO fire pits, no fireworks.
NO open fires are allowed in the PanArk neighborhood.
For stays longer than 15 days, a mid-stay cleaning is required and an additional fee of $150 will apply. This helps us maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensures the home stays comfortable for the duration of your stay.
Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.

Great relaxing vibe and living space was very clean. The fenced-in area for the dog was wonderful to have. (I did have to clean up dog poop that was left by the front steps and in the yard from previous dogs when we arrived and make sure to clean up after my dog). The cooking pan/sheet was dirty and not usable. The beds and rooms were very clean and comfortable. I think the upstairs bedroom could use a big fan as it was hot the first two evenings. Thank you!

Host was very attentive. I had a question, and got a response within minutes. Very clean house! Pics looked just like house. Would stay again!!

Great spacious condo. We did some hiking around Twin Lakes and hiked Mt Elbert whole staying there. Everything is excellently appointed. Fun bunk room for the kids. Movie selection is excellent. The neighborhood is a little remote and tough to get into if you don't have high clearance. Just FYI.

We had an excellent stay. The house was great, very clean and spacious. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Conveniently located, close to the lakes and about 20 minutes from Leadville. The fenced in yard was great for our puppy. Great communication and easy check in/out. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
