Step into 1255 square feet of recently remodeled space, where modern amenities meet rustic charm. The open-concept living area is adorned with stylish furnishings, featuring large picture windows that open up to the beautiful mountain forest, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere to unwind.
The Space:
This home has an AC unit for the summer months.
Main floor: Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room with a wood burning fireplace. WIFI and smart TV to access your favorite streaming services with local cable and Disney+ included . Lower level: BDRM #1 King with Smart TV and DVD player. BDRM #2 Queen & bunk beds. Second bathroom. Loft: 2 Twin beds and air conditioning. The deck has a coffee table propane fire pit as well as an electric BBQ.
Lost Trail is just a stone's throw away from indoor pool, hot tub, tennis courts and playground. Plenty of room for everyone with beds for 6-8 and a futon available for that extra person.
Don't forget that Ptarmigan Rentals offers many amenities including access to the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool, tennis courts, Cutthroat trout stocked fishing pond, private beach area on Whitefish Lake and so much more.
Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana. This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park.
Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.
Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

You will have full access to the indoor heated water pool and huge hot tub. In summer, you can go to Whitefish Lake via our private lot or enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and kids playground.

The village has access to an heated indoor salt water pool, wet sauna, outdoor hot tub and a seasonal outdoor pool. There is a tennis court, pickleball net set up, playground for the kiddos to enjoy along with private access to the Whitefish Beach area, which all is part of the Ptarmigan Village amenities.
Other Things to Note:
The springtime and fall are great times to visit if you want to get away for some quiet time. It is beautiful all year.

The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed at. We've stayed at a lot of properties and this one by far was the best stocked. I have gotten in the habit of packing kitchen items for fear of it not being stocked and needing something and it not being available. The property suited our needs perfect and we loved how quiet and serene the location was. It did take us about 45 - an hour to get anywhere we wanted to near Glacier. Whitefish is a cute area and that took us about 10-15 minutes to get down the mountain. The only thing that was a minor inconvenience was laundry. I always try to book a property with a washer and dryer right in the unit. I somehow missed that and assumed from what I read that there was a washer and dryer in unit. There was not. There is a laundry building on property. We had to drive to it and I felt that it was expensive. It cost about six dollars a load. I did not want to overpack and told the rest of my group to not overpack because I thought I would have laundry accessible in unit.

Sometimes difficult to connect with the host through the Vrbo app. Very nice place right next to the hot tub and pool.

This was a great spot to stay off the mountain, which we have never done before. Picked a good year since there was no snow to go snowboarding during our stay. This village has everything laundry swimming, hot tub sauna. Easy to navigate and quick cut through the forest paths to find friends who are staying in other cabins. Only downside was heavy fog which put some fireplace smoke back into the cabin easily. Remi just opening the doors and letting the fire die down. The cabin had everything we needed nothing extra, but we weren’t lacking for anything either. Loved how roomy our living room was in this cabin compared to my friends we definitely had the most space.

We enjoyed staying in this condo in Ptarmigan village. My family of 7 stayed here while skiing. It's at the very bottom of the neighborhood. Pretty views of trees out the back windows. The pool is a block away, and we cut through the snow. Everything was nice about the place. The windows in the loft and in the bunk bed room could use curtains because the street lights shine through - or else use a sleep mask. The loft is hotter than the rest of the house and the beds are not as good up there, so I'd recommend those beds for children instead of adults.
