Amazing lodging that is very close (a short walk away) to the dc armory metro, as well as local venues (RFK Stadium). The host was also very responsive. Our weekend was made perfect by booking this spot; if we ever come back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Solid stay. No issues at all. Would come back again.

DO NOT stay here if you value privacy or safety. The listing says “this home is all yours,” but on night three we discovered the host’s “mother” lives in the basement — completely undisclosed. Our children heard movement and became terrified. Because we assumed the home was private, we had briefly left our kids alone, something we would never have done knowing someone else was inside. The property was unclean (hairs on towels, crumbs on the floor), and the host was defensive and unhelpful even over simple requests like a plunger. VRBO support did not resolve the issue. We left immediately and paid for a hotel ourselves to feel safe. This property is misleading, unsafe, and not suitable for families — anyone considering it should be extremely cautious.
