We had a great first trip to the Tawas area!We found the home to be spacious, clean, and comfortable and the host provided many extra amenities to make us feel welcome. We loved that we could walk to the pier and downtown for shopping, dining, and ice cream! Even though the weather was cold and a bit rainy, we found plenty to explore for our long weekend. We visited Lumberman's Monument, enjoyed the large arts and crafts festival at shoreline park, and rented e-bikes to ride out to the lighthouse. We hope to visit this area again to explore the beaches and the AuSable River.

The house is very roomy and completely stocked with everything you need to start your stay. The beds were very comfortable and everything was provided. When I contacted the host with a question, she answered quickly and was very accommodating.

Excellent location with easy access to downtown. The home was very spacious and well-appointed, with thoughtful extras such as snacks and travel-size toiletries. The host was highly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We look forward to returning.

Great place to stay, nice and close to downtown East Tawas. We especially like the ranch style layout. Weather was cool so the lack of central air was not an issue. Look forward to visiting again.
