(Cabin will be closed for the winter January 5-March 15, 2026)
We are family owned cabins nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our cabins are less than one hour driving distance from attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Crabtree Falls, Montebello Fish Hatchery, Oak Ridge Estate (Infinity Downs/Lockn'), Wintergreen Ski Resort, Rockfish Valley Restaurants, Wineries and Breweries, Walton's Mountain Museum, and the Appalachian Trail. We are also within an hours time of Lexington, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Staunton, and Waynesboro, Virginia. All cabins are modernly equipped and ready for your stay. Come explore the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The cabin sleeps up to 4 people, but is perfectly suited for a romantic couples stay.
Bedrooms: 1 Queen Bed in upstairs bedroom, and 1 Full sofa pull-out in the living room. Twin air-mattress is also provided.
Bathrooms: 1 Full Bath adjoining master bedroom, equipped with luxurious jet-powered tub and separate shower unit. 1 powder-room located on the main floor.

Due to mounting terrain cell service is not available at this time . Internet/wifi is available (limited to social media and e-mail) Also there is a landline phone in cabin for local and emergency calls .

-Open Staircase is gated at top, but could be hazardous for small children. NO gates may be attached to bottom of stairs.
-There is a outdoor charcoal grill and a wood burning fire pit.Wood and charcoal are not supplied
-Mileage map generated by google is not correct, contact owners if more directions are needed

The cabin was cute and comfortable. The creek running behind the house was amazing. Cabin was fully stocked with things to make you feel at home. If you want to be remote this is your place. I will say though that the fact you use a key to enter the home but there is no dead bolt on the door made me uncomfortable at night. The door going out to the balcony to view the amazing creek had no lock on it at all. I realize the home seems safe but coming into an unknown area locks bring a sence of security to help you relax more when sleeping.

Beautiful, serene location. Perfect for just a couple or small family. Owners really care about the property and it shows, very clean, nicely decorated like a family cabin, and includes helpful extras like laundry, dishwasher, etc. If you want a quiet, cozy getaway far from people, this is it!

Our stay at Hawks View was outstanding. Great cozy cabin stocked with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Loved the seclusion and having the cascading water from the North Fork of the Tye to put you to sleep each night.
