Hurricane Lowell Update (9/9/26): Our thoughts are with everyone on Kauai still recovering from Hurricane Lowell, especially those who lost their homes — parts of the island, including areas of Poipu, were hit hard. For guests with an upcoming stay: we inspected this property in person, found no storm damage, and roads and access here are normal. Recovery across the island is ongoing and will take time. Poipu Kai is a 70-acre resort community in Poipu. The community consists of seven condo developments with their own swimming pools, an 8-court Poipu Kai Tennis Club, a community pool and hot tub, and the beautiful Green Belt, garden paths connecting the areas of the resort. The resort is between the Hyatt and Shipwreck`s Beach to Brennecke`s and Poipu beaches. Restaurants to walk to are the Grand Hyatt Kauai, the Poipu Bay Golf Course, Kalapaki Joe`s, and Brennecke`s Restaurant.
Getting Around:
When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.
Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

Nice condo, comfortable beds, great location on the walking path to the Hyatt in one direction and Poipu Beach in the other. The free access to the Athletic Club was a great perk!

The AC didn't cut it for us, but it was passable. The condo was absolutely fabulous otherwise. We LOVED it. Well-stocked, Nice and big. Just gorgeous!!!! We'll be back. We didn't know where to find the pool key so we had to call, but we got right through to the company so we were all set.

Prefect setup for a family of four. Easy walk or drive to the beach and great relaxation at the pool 100 feet away.
