We loved the house and location. Probably one of the cleanest VRBO rentals we have stayed in. Being so close to the beach and bay was the best of both worlds. The privacy fence was a plus so we could let our dog safely outside without a leash. The host thought of every detail to make this home comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for such a relaxing vacation, it was just what we needed!

Amanda’s seahorse cottage was everything the description said it would be. If anything I would say the description pictures did not do it justice. The location was great, the property was clean, it was a very short walk across the street to the beach and the added use of the dock for sunrise was great.
On the down side, we could not use the kitchen to cook meals the way we had intended. There was a major problem with roaches, especially at night. Instead of cooking the groceries we bought we ended up eating out at almost every meal. This was nice to some degree but also very expensive. When we notified the owners about the infestation of roaches they were quick to respond but the local bug company could not make it out to spray the house. They did however offer an apology for our inconvenience. They stated the house had been sprayed a week prior. We ended up going to a hardware store and buying bug spray to spray it ourselves. I believe once the bug problem is handled this will be a great choice for anyone visiting Manasota Key!
