Relax with the whole family at The Treehouse! Plenty of space to unwind in this modern home in a quiet and peaceful wooded setting nestled in the community of Lake Hayward. It's only a 1/2 hour drive to Mohegan Sun and Mystic Seaport
The lake is less than a mile away. Enjoy all the amenities including 3 lakefront beaches, swimming, tennis, basketball court and playground. This area also has beautiful hiking trails and a quaint local farm stand. Longer 30+ stays available

Allison was a great host and good communicating throughout our stay. We loved the location for our stay at Lake Hayward.

Mixed experience. Winter stay not recommended. The house itself was roomy. Our visit was in winter and we had several issues: water was running brown and needed to run for a bit before it was usable. The driveway was not fully plowed so parking was limited. Steep hill access roads are not well maintained and when it snowed they were very slippery. But the worst was the lack of heat. The furnace stopped working on our second day, and we woke to 59 degrees inside. We were traveling with my 91-year-old Dad, in town for my brother’s funeral, and Dad needed the day to rest before traveling home. When we contacted the host, she said that everyone was having trouble because of the cold and confirmed that there was no alternative heat source. We ended up having to leave a day early.
