A Pet-Friendly Paradise
Traveling with your pet? You're in luck! Kootwijk is a hidden gem for animal lovers. Just minutes away, you'll find the vast Kootwijkerzand nature reserve, where off-leash dog walking is allowed—perfect for long sandy strolls and fetch-friendly trails. Local cafés like Brasserie Staverden offer pup-friendly patios, and throughout the year, dog meetups and agility parks in the nearby Veluwe region provide fun social options for four-legged guests. Back at the bungalow, your pet will love exploring the secure garden while you relax in the fresh air.

Dine, Discover & Disconnect
Explore the nearby villages of Garderen and Harskamp for cozy dining options—De Garderense Berg is a favorite for wood-fired pizza, and Het Schaapje serves up hearty Dutch comfort food. For something sweet, don’t miss the homemade pastries at Bakery Schreuder.
