Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Economy 7 heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. . Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. The Hollies has been refurbished in 2018 and is ideally placed to enjoy walks from the door to take advantage of its particularly picturesque location. The nearby Hawkshead ferry crossing offers easy access to the west of the lake. Nearby typical Lakeland villages offer pubs with open fires, good beer and menus, taking advantage of the excellent locally sourced produce. Head into Bowness, for an eclectic mix of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Set on the edge of Lake Windermere, Bowness has a truly Lakeland feel and stunning views across the lake throughout the year. A wander up the hill from Bowness to Windermere offers guests further shops, many fine independent retailers, and an excellent choice of eateries. Beach 19 miles. Shops, pubs and restaurants 100 yards.

We've had such a lovely stay in this Apartment. It's in a great location with parking too! We did lots of hill walking during the day and enjoyed lovely strolls down to the Lakeside in the evenings - 5 mins walk! Previous occupants have said noise was an issue but it wasn't for us and we enjoyed some lovely sunshine so we had the windows open most of the time! I dropped to 4* for cleanliness due to cottages.com contacting us on arrival day to say a bed sheet/duvet cover needed to be changed - however the sheet/duvet cover both had stains on them but you could tell they had been cleaned well so it wasn't an issue for us but something the mgmt should take on board as constructive criticism. Could do with a leaflet in the info pack re the cooker/hob too. Great Apartment, Great Location and Definitey Recommend it!!

Lovely apartment with everything you need, ideally situated for shops,restaurants etc.
Had 4 nights here and would definitely recommend and would go back.

The Apartment was a very nice place to stay, its near to all the restaurants and in walking distance of the Lake Windermere. The only problems we found was the traffic noise as the bedroom was facing the main road and the Electric Shower didn't work properly as it was either too hot or too cold. The mirror in the bathroom was too high for us to see in. however, a very clean nice modern place to stay.

Lovely little flat,everything you need for a short break.Clean & tidy comfy bed,plenty of storage.
Only downside was being above the restaurant - noisy most nights from staff leaving.Occasional loud passers by also after closing time! Otherwise perfect base for the Lakes.
