Enjoy paradise between the bay and the ocean on the peaceful side of San Diego's Mission Beach. Play on the sand 20 steps from the front door, watch the boats pass from the second-floor deck, then walk 300 feet to the Pacific.
NEW CONSTRUCTION (2021): 2-story home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a 2-car tandem garage stocked with beach gear, a view deck, and a patio with fire table.
WHY FAMILIES LOVE IT
The garage is loaded so you don't rent or haul a thing: kayaks (including a 2-person), paddleboard, 8-ft foam surfboard, boogie boards, beach cruiser bikes, beach wagon, chairs, shade coverings, and sand toys. For the littlest guests: crib, toddler beds, blackout blinds, board games, and art supplies.
We keep this home the way we keep it for our own family — we use it many weeks a year. The kitchen is genuinely full: supplies, spices and condiments, Nespresso (pods included), milk frother, SodaStream, plus charging cords, games, laundry detergent, and more. Some short-term rentals are completely bare — not even salt and pepper in the house. That's not what our place is like. Our place is your home away from home.

First floor: outdoor patio with sectional, grill and fire table; 2-car garage full of beach toys; laundry; storage.
Second floor: deck with water view and outdoor sofa; family room; dining room; fully stocked kitchen; 3 bedrooms; 2 bathrooms.

THE LOCATION
Leave the car parked all week. Walk to restaurants, Belmont Park, and boat rentals — both the bay and the ocean are steps away. SeaWorld fireworks are visible from the front door in summer, and dolphins visit all the time.

It was in a wonderful location, close to the bay and the beach. Our family had a wonderful time. The house was really clean. You don’t have to worry about bringing anything for the beach or the bay they have everything in their garage.

Extremely clean, excellent location. Very nice home only a few blocks from Belmont park and just steps away from Mission Beach and Mission Bay. Parking in the garage is tough if you have a larger vehicle, recommend renting a smaller car. The communication is excellent and so many extra amenities (fire pit, bikes, kayak, stocked coffee, etc) make this our family’s favorite!

This is a good place. Great location. Cute. Nice amenities as far as having shampoo, body wash, baggies, foil, a lot of stuff you don’t want to buy a whole container of for a vacation. Host communication is great. It was fairly quiet the first couple of nights as long as the windows were closed. The last night I could hear people walking upstairs at all hours (like 4am). I don’t know if they hadn’t been there the other nights or what. Also you can hear the airplanes but I didn’t feel like it was a loud or disturbing sound. Things to know - the queen bunk bed on the bottom you could really only put one person and preferably a child or teen because there’s not a lot of space between that bed and the bunk above. Even a child could not sit up. The primary bedroom bed is very high so if you have mobility limitations, not for you. Both bathrooms have 2 light switches. Be sure to use the one without the timer when you are showering because it’s dark in there when the light goes off if the other one isn’t on. As for the garage, my husband managed to park a minivan in there. It was a tight fit and took a many point turn to get lined up, but we made it work.
