Welcome to Lynx Lair, one of just three handcrafted log cabins at Rocky Mountain Escape, set on 68 acres of private wilderness in the heart of Rock Lake Provincial Park.
If you're looking to escape busy campgrounds, crowded tourist areas and constant notifications, you've found it.
Our cabins are thoughtfully spaced apart to give every guest privacy, peace and the chance to truly reconnect with nature.
A True Off-Grid Experience: Getting here is part of the Adventurre, 4wd/Awd recommended.
This isn't camping... and it isn't a hotel.
It's the perfect balance between comfort and wilderness.
Lynx Lair offers all the comforts you need while allowing you to completely disconnect from everyday life.
Inside you'll find:
• Queen-size bed with luxury bedding
• Double fold-down futon (sleeps up to 4 guests)
• Private bathroom with full bath and hot shower
• Indoor plumbing
• Kitchenette with refrigerator, sink and propane burner for hot drinks
• All towels, bedding, crockery, cookware and utensils provided
• Complimentary tea, locally roasted coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper
Outside you'll enjoy:
• Private covered deck overlooking the forest
• Propane griddle for outdoor cooking
• Fire pit with complimentary firewood
• Adirondack chairs perfect for relaxing after a day exploring

We didn’t want to leave! Cleanest property I ever stayed at. I wish I booked more than the 3 nights. I will come back again and stay longer. Beautiful property and so many trails and wildlife!

We had a wonderfully relaxing time in the log cabin. It was a haven of peacefulness that allowed us to absorb the surrounding clean air and spectacular scenery. The amenities of the cabin were top class and provided everything we needed. Julia and Gary were marvellous hosts and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this location.
