NIDO DE LOS CUERVOS (Crows Nest)
The view from The Nest is breathtaking! From the modern Mexican décor to the open concept kitchen / living area to the panoramic view of the Bay of Banderas (just 1 short block away), you will feel relaxed and comfortable from the minute you walk in and are greeted by the wall to wall, floor to ceiling glass terrace doors that open to the sunny outdoor space.
The Nest is located on Los Muertos Beach and is around the corner from “Blue Chairs” and within easy walking to all of the great restaurants and activities in the Old Town, malecon (boardwalk) and historical town center. The panoramic view of the bay is constantly engrossing with the comings and goings of cruise ships, the Marigalante, fireworks, and the BEAUTIFUL sunsets.
The Nest
The newly renovated condo is more than 870 square feet. The one bedroom has great closet and storage space and a new King size bed. There is a large bright bathroom with walk-in shower and modern fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances and water filtration system. The kitchen / living area is very comfortable for cooking, hanging out (while he or she cooks for you!) and for checking the latest weather and news of your hometown on the free wireless internet or large flatscreen TV. The terrace is perfect for sipping a margarita and enjoying the sunsets. All rooms have modern, quiet ceiling fans and air conditioning, if needed, usually the ocean beeze and fans are sufficient.
The condo building has a beautiful sun deck and swimming pool, where a bar is open during the high season. The Nest is accessed by three levels of stairs, up or down, depending on the street of entrance. Sorry, but there is no handicap accommodation.
Two guests would be very comfortable, a third would need to sleep in the living area, on a sofa.

This condo is a very short walk from Playa de los Muertos, and very close to downtown/restaurants. David (the owner) was available from reservation to check out, answering any questions I had. My only suggestion would be room darkening shades for the living room to remove the glare from the television during daylight hours.

Overall it was fine, the entry initially is somewhat convoluted, but once you get it, it is fine…The different levels to access the condo certainly give you a work out. I really think the electronics in the Unit definitely need updating. Took about 4 days just to figure out how to access NetFlix and then I had to enter my account info, which hopefully I deleted before leaving. And the Pool was not heated, not enjoyable…The Host was very responsive to questions and pleasant.
