Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the Blue Bird Cottage, an ocean front home with private beach access located between Waldport and Yachats. Stroll the miles of sand on Big Stump Beach or just sit on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Additional amenities include a fully fenced yard for the pets and kids, telescope and binoculars for whale watching and a home WiFi system for the working vacationer. The Blue Bird Cottage has 2 bedrooms plus a loft, 1.5 bathrooms and a fireplace in the living room for those cozy evenings. This is one of the coziest homes and best locations on the Oregon coast!
Living Room: Electric Fireplace, Queen Sofa Sleeper, Flat Screen Roku TV, Blu Ray player and plenty of games.
Dining Room: Table that seats 6, ocean views and a sliding glass door to the deck.
Kitchen: Fully equipped including a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, range, blender, coffee pot and coffee grinder.
Master Bedroom: Queen Murphy bed, ocean views and a sliding glass door to the deck.
Bathroom 1: Large walk-in shower with beautiful slate tile and hairdryer.
UPSTAIRS:
Bedroom 2: Full size bed with a 4K Flat Screen 43” Roku TV and views of the ocean.
Loft/Bedroom 3: Twin bed and two skylights.
Bathroom 2: Half Bath
Max occupancy: 6
Pet Friendly: 1 small dog only (pet fee applies).
Parking: 2 car maximum.

Blue Bird Cottage is a great little house. It was very clean, well stocked, Great views with easy beach access. Katy with Ocean Odyssey awesome to work with and reservations were very easy to make. We will definitely stay again

My daughter and I have stayed several times at Blue Bird Cottage. It is always clean, comfortable, and has the perfect location. Sitting on the deck, sipping wine, and watching waves--oo la la! Plus the staff was very accommodating with several changes I requested to our schedule.

It was awesome to be right on the beach! The cottage was super cute and comfortably fit our family of five. The house was conveniently close several fun outings and we were easily able to get anything that we needed for our trip.

Great view and great beach access. Nice TV’s!
Wish the place had been cleaner, long hair stuck to bathroom rug and since counter space is limited I stored food like cereal boxes on top of the refrigerator and dusty crude was on the boxes when I pulled them down, and the clean dish rags smelled nasty.
Beds were either too soft or too firm, but that is a personal preference so others may enjoy.
Biggest issue is the dining table and chairs - they are in serious disrepair. Wobbly and will break on someone eventually. I am glad it wasn’t us, but it will be someone soon - guaranteed. Please be aware!! Until this is fixed or replaced it could cause injury.
Also had a bit of a time getting the lock box open and also experienced a difficult time once inside getting the door to unlock from the inside.
If the beds were comfortable, the table was not falling apart and the lockbox and front door lock functioned better I would have given the place 4.5 stars
