The property is well appointed! Great kitchen items for cooking and serving food. This was very important for my family. The mattresses were of great quality as was the bedding. This house is perfectly set up for a family to enjoy time together. The lake is close by and the outside yard is set up for gathering. Air conditioning available and it was spotlessly clean.

The home was clean, cozy and had everything we needed.

First impression was awful! Grass over 2 feet high, a pile of gravel in front of the driveway, natural debris at the entry and mangled blinds. My son said it looked “murdery”. We almost canceled right then and there. The fire pit was great, offered kayaks but we never had an opportunity to use them as we were here for a family memorial service. Laundry access was a plus. Comfortable beds, but flimsy sheets. On the surface, it was clean, but don’t go barefoot and expect socks to be dirty. Property is in disrepair. No handle on microwave, sticky kitchen handles, lights don’t work properly in the front bedroom so reading in there can’t be done. No outlet near bathroom mirror, so I had to blow dry my hair in a bedroom. Missing outlet plates. Lots of dead gnats upon arrival (consider a Zevo). Glazing in tub flaking off. There’s more, but I think you get the picture. One person mentioned the property was tired, I’d say exhausted. My family lives at Amston Lake, and we won’t book this place again.
