This was a great house and overall was pretty nice. One of the biggest disappointments was there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. We anticipated having to buy stuff like hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper. However, there was VERY little of any of it.
The washer ended its cycle twice without draining the water and we worried it would stop working. The dryer required us to run loads twice to get things dry. This was a huge problem 24 hours prior to checkout as we were scrambling to get all of the laundry they required us to wash before departing. This brings me to my next disappointment.
Guests should not be required to wash the towels. When we arrived, my wife commented on the smell of the towels. The property manager requires guests wash the towels before departing. What if prior guests don’t wash the towels and simply fold them up? To leave this to the guests is pretty bad in my opinion. You show up at the house and just have to hope the previous guests washed the towels. Again, for the price, you’d think they would wash the towels. I understand starting a load of laundry or two, but that’s it. We owned a rental in Kissimmee FL and had our property manager and cleaners handle this.
Lastly, the sheets in the master bedroom were pretty old and needed to be replaced. Pillows too. I’m not sure if we would stay here again.
