Bear House is a superb property in Taos, NM. It's easy walking distance to the Plaza with shops and restaurants, even in a snow storm! The house is a wonderful old adobe with all of the modern amenities. The kitchen is to die for. We did Thanksgiving dinner here with ease. The fenced yard in pretty big and contained our little lab no problem. And quiet. The lane it's on is quant & quiet. The owner & local contact were great. We'd do it again, no problem!

Beautiful home nestled just 10min walk from the Taos Plaza. Very modern architecture and beautifully appointed. CAVEAT - property does not have Evaporative or Central AirConditioning. Property is extremely hot during summer months. FYI

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this home on our vacation. It was spacious, clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, had a large fenced yard and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. It even had a piano in one of the bedrooms and my teenage son (who is a musician) was in heaven. Close to everything, it is the ideal location. I would definitely return to this home next time we are in Taos!!

Wow! Eileen, your home is lovely, well equipped and welcoming. We had such a wonderful Christmas week, and it actually snowed on Christmas Day! Everyone agreed it was one of our best holidays ever. The house is a short walk to the Plaza and restaurants. We took advantage of skiing at both Taos and Angel Fire, a hike to the hot springs, as well as sledding and cross country skiing trails close by. We will definitely be back.
