Welcome to your home away from home. 160 Jacana (Formerly 12 Jacana) features all the comforts of home in the perfect vacation setting. Located a short walk to the beach, this 6th row home is the perfect family getaway.
The house is a raised single level home, featuring 4 bedrooms, 4 bathroom on a split floor plan. You enter the house through the inviting living room with ample seating and views of the back deck overlooking the pool. To the left is a formal dining table with seating for 8. The breakfast table is just outside the dining room and kitchen with seating for another 4. The kitchen is equipped with anything needed to cook a large family meal. On the back deck over looking the pool is a gas grill for all outdoor cooking needs!
Down the hall on one side of the home is a private den with a TV and pull-out sofa for additional sleeping. At the end of the hall in the master bedroom you are greeted with a pull-out twin sleeper sofa and just past that, the master bedroom has a 4-post king bed & a queen sized pull out sleeper sofa with en-suite bath that features a large garden tub and private shower with double vanity. On the other side of this charming house is three beautifully appointed guest bedrooms. The first guest bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed and is equipped with a flat-screen TV for your entertainment. Just across the hall, you'll find the shared bathroom, complete with a tub/shower . The second guest bedroom, also graced with a queen bed and a flat-screen TV, ensures a cozy and relaxing stay. At the end of the hallway, you'll discover the final guest bedroom, which features a luxurious king-sized bed. This bedroom boasts the added convenience of an en-suite bathroom, providing an extra touch of comfort and privacy during your stay.
One of the main features of Jacana is the large inground pool and spa. The pool is 32' x 15' and has a built in spa in the center. The area also has ample seating and a picnic table. There is also room under the house with a 5th bathroom, refrigerator, and sink. Also, just off the pool cabana is the ping pong table and paddles.

We have been going to Hilton Head as a family for many years now and it was our first time renting a house. The house was beautiful, had everything we could possibly need and was wonderfully quiet. There were 7 of us and a dog and the house was plenty spacious. The pool area is gorgeous and the fencing situation is perfect for both a dog and a toddler. The location was ideal. Super close to Coligny while still feeling like you're surrounded by jungle. We could not be happier with our stay and plan to return as a family for years to come. Beachside Getaway was great to work with and very responsive to any of our phone calls.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was great and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub even more! My favorite part was that it’s across the street from the beach!

We enjoyed the location and amenities of this property. Beachside Getaway was good to work with prior to our trip. Check in was fine. The lower level was unlocked when we arrived, and very hot and musty, so we never used it. The rest of the house was a good size and had all the needed amenities for our stay. Unfortunately, though, the entire master bedroom and bathroom area had a very musty, mildewy smell. It seemed to get worse as the week progressed. Partway through the week we discovered that one of the windows in the master was not all the way closed, and was sealed with masking tape. There was mold/mildew all under the tape and emerging around it. Thankfully there was another bedroom that wasn't being used as the smell was getting really bad. Management was polite about our concern, but when we asked for a partial refund we received no communication back. We were fine with paying the high rate for this home, but we felt it should have been in full clean and functioning order.
When we noticed the smell, we started seeing that the property is not well maintained especially in regards to water. There is chipped paint, overflowing gutters, rainwater pooling around base of house and the musty/mildewy entire first level and master suite.
This house is in an amazing location and the pool was a luxury to have on property. We just wished there was better attention to detail and cleanliness.
