Nestled among 3.5 acres of pine trees bordering the Targhee National Forest is Whispering Pines. This beautiful property is located in West Yellowstone, MT, less than 8 miles from Yellowstone National Park. A true paradise for all seasons, offering easy access to miles of snowmobile trails for your winter getaway adventure and ATV trails for your summer getaway adventure. West Yellowstone is considered by many the snowmobile capitol of the world! The property offers a newly remodeled 3200 square-foot floor plan tastefully decorated with top of the line amenities, including a beautiful and spacious fully equipped gourmet kitchen (with wide assortment of cooking spices included!), two massive wood-burning fireplaces, family game room with air hockey table and foosball table, spacious redwood deck, outdoor fire pit, inviting jacuzzi tub, and much more. The home sleeps up to 14 with five bedrooms: a master bedroom/bath with a queen bed, three bedrooms with king beds, a fifth bedroom with two sets of bunk beds (full over twin bed each). There are three full baths with the master bath and downstairs bath as tiled walk-in shower, the third bath has a full shower/tub combination.
The living room and dining room area feature an open floor plan to accommodate entertainment with family and friends. The knotty pine walls and ceilings, as well as the modern accent lighting and large fireplace add to the warm look and feel of this lovely cabin. The large redwood deck is perfect for outdoor dining or simply relaxing in a tree house like atmosphere.

The cabin is only 10 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park! Choose a guided tour of Yellowstone National Park or you can experience this natural wonder on your own schedule. There is plenty to do: world-class fly-fishing, hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, white water rafting, kayaking, bird and wildlife viewing, boating, water and snow skiing, shopping, dining, and sightseeing, just to name a few.
The West Yellowstone area offers fun for the whole family including Yellowstone Historic Center, antique shops, the Grizzly Discovery Center, the Imax Theater featuring daily showings. For your Wild West experience, the Yellowstone Rodeo (less than a mile from the cabin) is open for Rodeo night almost daily during the summer months. Also available during the summer are the Museum of the Yellowstone and the famous Playmill Theater offering fun-filled recreation for kids as well as adults.
In winter, the cabin is a coveted spot for avid snowmobilers who flock to the area in search of the ultimate snowmobile experience. The cabin is located on the Lion's Head snowmobile trail with full winter access. Other winter activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding and ice fishing, all of which are available close by.

The house was beautiful and very close to Yellowstone. The kitchen as stocked with many things, like spices, etc. that saved us from having to spend additionally. The games were especially entertaining for the kids and the hot tub was a relaxing bonus. Our host, Rand was so nice and very helpful with check in and anytime we had questions. We had a wonderful time and created beautiful memories with our children and grandchildren.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The home was incredibly well stocked—my wife kept saying that everything she hoped to find was already there, which made our trip so easy.We loved the large table and the outdoor porch, perfect spots for gathering and relaxing. The canopy over the entrance was a huge help when we were packing up in rain.Our group included 13 adults and 1 child, and there were plenty of beds and space for everyone to be comfortable. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were big highlights and gave us great places to unwind together.Overall, this was a fantastic stay. The home is clearly prepared with care, and we’d happily return.
