The property was updated and clean. We had everything we needed.

Inaccurate pictures. Need more pictures of inside and outside. Shouldn’t say steps from lake when there is no lake access.
Loved pets allowed and private yard.
Enjoyed our stay.

The place was clean and nicely decorated. The street is off of a busy road, but we didn't notice any noise indoors. The tree line provided a nice barrier even outside. We had all the amenities we needed. We loved watching the bunnies hop around the yard. The location was close enough to walk to the restaurant across the street, which had good food. It's just a short drive to downtown Petoskey. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was full of weeds—and a few dead animals. The “lake view” was obstructed by an overgrown shrub and an eyesore of a neighboring garage. The larger bed was comfortable, however the sheets were dirty (sandy and hairy) and pilled which made them uncomfortable to sleep on. We changed them. The dryer was not vented properly, so unfortunately the lint and heat came directly into the living space. There is one window a/c unit that operates by a light switch (took us a few days to figure that out).
The host (Patrick) was initially very helpful—until I expressed my disappointment. Overall, the area is full of many things to do—everything is a short drive away. The photographs of the outside property do not reflect the actual state of the cottage.
