We loved our stay! Location was great. Place was clean, shower worked well.

Perhaps a 2 minute walk up from the beach and 2 minutes downhill from the pharmacy, which is probably the furthest uphill of anything of relevance to tourists. In the midst of numerous shops, restaurants and other lodging. Great base for our 3 full days in Cinque Terre

If you are looking for location then it is a 8/10. If you are looking for comfort and cleanliness then it is 1/10. My wife had to clean the toilet when we arrived as there was feces splatter all over the inside, the shower door was falling off, the AC unit in the bedroom had some major pieces falling off the front (we didn’t even want to use it in its shape), the bed mattress was too big for the bed frame so it hung over on each side, the mattress itself was at least 30 years old and one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I have ever slept on (I considered taking a financial hit and leaving and moving places on the first night because of the mattress), the pillows are equally as old and uncomfortable, the bed/pillow sheets were worn out and at least 20 years old, my wife was unsure if the towels provided (both beach and bathroom) were cleaned prior to our arrival, and lastly we didn’t receive wifi instructions until our very last day after requesting it via the Expedia app (as your supposed to do) on our very first day (3 days/nights) and they then told us they would have replied quicker on Whatsapp of which I did not have information for nor did I feel comfortable communicating outside the Expedia app. The location is good, a couple minute walk to the amazing beach…but that’s it. I would visit Monterosso again for sure…just not this place. It needs major updating and attention to detail for these prices. It was a complete let down.
