Our guests, esp. families, LOVE Pineapple Palms - our 8 bedrooms/ 6 baths beach home!
When standing in front of the house you can see the ocean at the end of the street.
It is great for large family gatherings and because it is a duplex you get 2 kitchens, 2 washers, 2 dryers, 2 king suites, 4 queen bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds, 2 daybeds and plenty of space to spread out. Staircases are exterior and upstairs & downstairs have separate locks for the added privacy that you may want.
So many comment that they love having two kitchens, especially at breakfast and lunchtime. You have enough space to make it more enjoyable for everyone.
You can grill out by the pool on the gas grill or sit in the rockers on the front porches and feel the ocean breeze.
There is high-speed internet service. The TVs in the living areas have 60-inch flat screens. There are brand new flat screens in all 8 bedrooms.
We provide sheets, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths, dish towels, etc...
We provide lots of baby items. There are 2 cribs, a toddler bed, 2 packnplays, 2 high chairs, baby swing, bouncy seat, baby bathtub, jumper, etc...It is located in the house in the Master BR closets.
We try to keep the kitchens well stocked with everything you will need. There are up-to-date new coffee makers that are dual purpose.You can brew coffee by the pot or by the cup with a pod. We also have tea kettle, toasters, stand mixer, blenders, pancake griddles, three crock pots, large pots, and pans. There are lots of dishes. There are can openers, wine openers, wine glasses, etc...There are baking dishes, cookies sheets, cake pans, muffin tins, mixing bowls, etc...
Each refrigerator has an ice maker with a cold water dispenser on the front . There are disposals and dishwashers.
There is a laundry room in each unit with an LG full-size front loading washer and dryer. There are ironing boards and irons in each unit too!
The large pool table upstairs is a popular place to gather for some extra fun on vacation! There is a Pac-Man video game, too! Who doesn't like Pac-Man!
The pool is very nice. It is heated during certain months of the year. In April, May, Sept., and Oct. the pool heater is turned on to keep the temperature between 85 and 87 degrees. In November - March, it's too cool in the evening to maintain the temperature so it is not heated in those months for this reason.
The location is so close to the popular attractions. Barefoot Landing is 3 miles away, the Tanger Outlets are 5 miles away and Broadway at the Beach is a 15 - 20-minute ride.

You will love it here! There is direct beach access at the end of our street with lots of golf cart parking in front of the sand dunes. We have great beach access! It is not crowded and there are no steps so you can pull a wagon right to your perfect spot!
We have ONE security camera on the utility pole out front. Also, there is a motion sensor inside near the front door-only used when the house is NOT rented.

Our host was responsive and helpful. He referred us to an excellent fresh fish market. We bought fresh grouper that was caught that morning! We had everything we needed to enjoy a week on the beach in our home away from home! Our issue with the garbage disposal was resolved on a Sunday after only 4 hours. We will differently return! Thank you very much!

We enjoyed the home very much. It is extremely well equipped. The most well equipped house we stayed. The pool is wonderful. Quick and efficient response from the host. The only thing I missed was an interior staircase to the second floor and a separate access to the pool.

We just returned from a week long stay at Pineapple Palms and it was fabulous! We had 17 family members there for our annual three generational trip and there was plenty of space for everyone! The heated pool was fantastic for all the kids (and adults!) and the short walk to the beach allowed for quick trips and sunrise watching. The home itself is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in and was well stocked with kitchen and beach items. We didn’t have any babies with us but they have a ton of baby equipment as well. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly for any questions. We would definitely book again!

There were issues with the property. The two biggest issues was the amount of insects inside and right outside the home. I realize we were in South Carolina but I have never had to run through palmettos falling on steps into our residence in the past. Several of my guests noticed palmettos inside the home there were ants on the second floor on the counters, TVs were constantly buffering in many of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were fine, but could use better small area rugs the ones that were present were old and thin. The staircase are in need of a paint job, and there was a panel that was coming off the pillar I believe that it was an electrical box for the pool area. The outside shower was dirty and loaded with debris and old beach toys. It made the pool shower area unusable for the first two days. We notified the owner, and that issue was resolved. We have been going to the Outer Banks area for over 10 years for a family vacation. I am providing this feedback because I think all of these issues are correctable.
