The picturesque village of Montegonzi can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes via a steep path. It offers a small grocery shop and one restaurant. In Cavriglia, only ten minutes away by car, and slightly further in Montevarchi with its large supermarkets, you will find a wider range of amenities. The Montevarchi Terranuova train station provides direct trains to Florence, a stress-free way to visit the Renaissance city. The towns and wineries of the Chianti Classico are within easy reach, and Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno and the UNESCO-recognised Val d’Orcia are wonderful options for unforgettable day trips.

The stone villa stands in well-maintained gardens with terracotta planters filled with colourful flowers. A covered terrace with dining table and chairs next to the house offers an ideal spot for al fresco meals.
