If you try Istrian dishes you will find many fresh ingredients prepared with olive oil. The herbs they use are rosemary and sage, and garlic and tomatoes in sauces. One of the most popular dishes in Pula and the region is fuži, homemade pasta. Another delicacy you should try is Istrian prosciutto, treated with a mixture of different herbs.
