The space
Lakeside Retreat is a freshly renovated, spacious home nestled on a calm slough of Wilson Lake just off the Tennessee River. Featuring 180-degree waterfront views, 4 king beds, 2 singles, and 4 bathrooms, this spacious retreat sleeps up to 12 guests. Located in a tranquil neighborhood just 20 minutes from downtown Florence, it's perfect for family gatherings or a peaceful getaway.
A Note About Nature: One of the best parts of staying at a lakefront home in North Alabama is enjoying the beauty of the outdoors: including birds, wildlife, and waterfront views. Because of our lakeside location, guests may occasionally notice cobwebs, pollen, insects, or bird activity outdoors, and from time to time a small bug may find its way inside when doors are opened. Rest assured, our home is professionally cleaned after every stay and routinely treated by pest control to keep everything as comfortable as possible. We work hard to maintain the property, but nature moves fast at the lake!

We loved the 4 large bedrooms. The living room and kitchen area was a little tight for 11 people. The screened in porch helped ease the pain of the smaller living room. The 2 washers and dryers helped us keep up with clean towels and wash cloths. The bedroom next to the one with twin beds needs a curtain because the sun shines in between the shade and widow facing into your eyes during the early morning. Overall it’s a nice place.

We loved staying here - a perfect place to relax and spend time with family.A well put together space with lots of thoughtful touches. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and we could cook as if at home, maybe even better than home. The lakeside location is gorgeous and we day tripped to Muscle Shoals and local hiking spots. The host was very communicative and friendly, even recommending somewhere for us to stop off on our drive from Birmingham.Would certainly recommend.

The house was only 15 minutes away from Florence. I actually brought kitchen items with me because I was afraid I wouldn't have what I needed. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything I needed was already there. The host was responsive and answered my questions in a timely fashion. The house is absolutely beautiful and provided the peaceful escape we needed.
