Spacious 3bed/2bath home on 3 acres perched high above the mighty Uncompahgre River. Take a stroll down to the river on the property, or head over to the Ridgway State Park less than a half mile away. The town of Ridgway is 3 miles away, where shops and restaurants abound. Telluride is a convenient 45 min away and Ouray is only 10 minutes to its hot springs and adventures!
This property makes an excellent base camp for many activities, especially hunting during autumn. Convenient access to units 62 and 65. Plenty of parking for trailers, atv’s, utv’s, etc.
Plenty of wildlife to watch right at the property. Bald eagles arrive late September/early October for the fall salmon run from the Ridgway reservoir up the Uncompahgre river. The eagles often stay around until late November/early December.
This house has an attached lock off apartment, otherwise known as an additional dwelling unit (ADU). The owner occupies this ADU when he is not traveling for work. There is absolutely no shared spaces. The only place with interaction would be in the driveway/yard. This basically provides an on site property manager to help with any issues that may arise.

We rented jay’s place for 3 nights. This place is MORE than adequate. Especially for the cost & location!! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with equipment, and despite what some “bad” reviews said, I’m not sure why anyone cared about “matching” dishware… first of all, there are THREE full sets of plates… bowls etc…. The silverware has some mismatched items but if that’s what you are after you should go stay at a mansion anyway…. Don’t rent a 1,000 place expecting a 5,000 place. Oh, the ice maker on the door IS actually broken but seriously, if that’s why you are renting a place (for the ice maker) then get a life. They have supplied ice trays… the water here is good so just suck it up and make some ice or go buy a bag from the gas station. The bedding was all clean, the home smelled clean (unlike some reviews), and we LOVED the location.There is tons of parking if you have people the trailers.There is also lots of room for kids to enjoy playing and hanging out.I am pretty hard on VRBO places… the negative reviews of this one gave me pause, but I am so glad I listened to my gut and identified people just running their mouth. We will definitely be back!! Jay was also super communicative with trail tips, and very easy to reach!! Thanks Jay!

A decent home in a great location. Although the house is definitely older, the accommodation was fine for our needs. Beds were comfortable and and the home had everything we needed, plus it was 3 mins from a grocery store. Scenery was amazing and it was awesome being close to the river, even if it was a short hike down the hill. The interior could definitely use some updating and deep cleaning. Many items didn't work or weren't available. No working hot tub, refrigerator water dispenser and ice were inoperable and there were a few light bulbs out that I replaced myself. The tap water was not that great, so we bought spring water. Many faucets an the tub had significant hard water crust. Overall it was a good stay due to it's convenient location to Ridgway, Ouray, and Telluride, the great scenery and openness and the price we paid compared to others in the area.

The property is fine. Even though there are pictures of a hot tub, it is not operational. We should have asked before we booked.

wonderful views. Building needs significant improvements. Ice maker on refrigerator was not working, several light fixtures not functioning. Kitchen supplies were of poorer quality than other places we have stayed, and somewhat mismatched. Very warm when we stayed, and inability to open windows for cross ventilation made it uncomfortable. Handle on shower faucet was not working properly and made it difficult to control temperature.
