Really loved staying at villas on the gulf

The room was clean. We did have a lock mishap, but it was fixed quickly, even though it was after hours.

This is an older property. it's a little ragged around the edges, but it's good where it counts: very clean, great bed to sleep in, clean well-furnished kitchen and comfortable furniture. You have to walk through the complex to get to the beach. It's not a far distance but if walking is a problem, you may want to look elsewhere. The TV had no directions with it, so there is no cable or local channels. Only streaming services that are free (no Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc.).

Condo notesBalcony and entry way into the condo was disgustingly unclean with dirty grime and cob webs. The entry door itself is dirty and very unappealing. The outside light is also dirty. The tracks for the balcony door were black with something that looked very much like mold. The bathroom shower is VERY MUCH a trip hazard. It is so long it puddles on the floor of the tub and someone could so easily slip and fall because of it. It’s evident by the built up scum on the bottom of it that it has been that way for quite awhile. It should have been cut off to a better length as soon as it was hung up. As for the inside of the condo, is was adequately cleaned and decorated nicely. The cabinetry really could use some touching up and painting. The furniture really needs to be re-stuffed as they sag badly on the front sides of them and are not comfortable. The bed mattress was terribly uncomfortable and the springs inside of it could be felt. It was not possible to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The linens and bath towels were nice though and appeared cleaned and freshened up. We were impressed by the overall look and feel of the property as a whole. The landscaping was pretty and seemed to be well kept up with. We enjoyed watching the ducks and babies, and the turtles. For these things I would give a good rating. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the actual condo we had due to the uncleanliness on the exterior and the aforementioned other issues mentioned. (more……………)
