Also enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river, walking through the famous French Market or hop on a streetcar to Canal street & visit Harrah's, Canal Place/Riverwalk Malls, Aquarium, & numerous dining options.
The Space:
2nd floor studio apartment with a Kitchenette, Queen Bed & Walk-in Shower. Recently updated with memory foam mattress, ROKU TV, all new bedding & towels.
• WiFi and fold-able desk.
• Walk-in shower
• Kitchenette with sink, mini refrigerator, cook top, microwave, Keurig & toaster. Flatware & dishes provided.
The building is three stories & composed of 5 rental units: 2 Studios, 2 one-bedrooms & a three-bedroom unit. A tattoo shop is on the first floor.
For drivers, there is a parking lot around the corner, at 2135 Decatur St, between Elysian & Frenchmen, rates are about $20/day. Another option would be finding parking along the street. Available Parking can usually be found along Elysian St & St. Peter. Some streets are pay to park others are free.

The Neighborhood:
The offbeat Marigny district is affectionately called, "The New Quarter", known for its Cajun bistros, bohemian bars and jazz clubs, especially along Frenchmen Street. Sidewalk musicians and brass bands add a block party vibe to the nighttime Frenchmen Art Market, which sells local artwork and handicrafts. Quieter spots include Washington Square where the lawns are shaded by old oak trees. The Marigny Opera House offers an eclectic program
Getting Around:
This spot is highly walkable but if transportation is needed- Uber/Lyft/Cab, Streetcar, Pedi-cabs & bike rentals are nearby.

The location is perfect if you want to experience the best parts of New Orleans. Super walkable, some of the best bars in the city directly outside the front door, the French Market around the corner, and a short walk to Bourbon St. Trevor assured me of his teams cleaning standards which are good to know. You will certainly enjoy this stay! The hosts are fantastic!

Super cute, right at the end of Frenchmans St. Working A/C, fridge, stovetop, secure entry, great space for 2 people. Loud? Yes, but to be expected on this street. If you dont like the loud bar scene, look further up the street. 2-3 blocks away from Envie's coffee and outdoor market. Everything we visited, Vampire Cafe, Jackson park, Cafe Du Monde was within walking distance. Loved New Orleans, will look for this rental when i come back!
