Located in a very popular part of Windermere with instant access to shops, pubs and restaurants. Minutes from the train station and a short walk from the lake.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, electricity, fresh bed linen and towels. Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for open fires included during winter months.. Patio to front and rear with metal garden furniture. Parking permit for 1 car and room for Parking 1 reasonably sized car horizontal to the rear of property. No smoking.. A delightful Lakeland cottage in a central location. This charming property is found just off the main street in Windermere itself and is ideal for guests wanting to place themselves within the town’s popular amenities. A short stroll to the pretty town centre finds a selection of restaurants, cafés and shops with something for everyone.
Windermere offers an ideal base from which to explore the Lakes. How you do this is entirely up to you! Trains run regularly from the local station, just a short walk away. The much loved Lake Windermere steamers depart from nearby Bowness, another hugely popular Lakeland town. Walkers of all abilities will enjoy easy access to fabulous routes literally from your doorstep. It’s not just the great location of this holiday home that guests will find a bonus. Very clean and well presented property in an excellent location allowing access to all local amenities within a 5 min walk, including some excellent coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The parking around the back of the property was tight as described but local on street parking was always available with minimal fuss. From the initial email right through to leaving the property the owners provided a first class service, we will certainly be recommending the property to our friends.

Lovely break in a lovely cottage and the owners could not have been more helpful re checking in etc.
Only reason for not 10’s across the board was the parking which was a little tricky but manageable and as there was 4 of us, a second toilet would have been useful.

Cozy cottage located in the center of town, but set back enough from the traffic and noise. Very quite location. Furnished to a high standard and it is clean and comfortable. Parking was tight, but we did manage every day to get in the bay at the back of the cottage with no problem. Facilities were good. Some 'high touch' items have been removed, so make sure you pack an iron and hairdryer if you need one ! First time to the lakes, beautiful this time of the year. Check in and out were both very smooth, communication is excellent from both Tim and Kim. We would return and are happy to recommend to others.
