The apartment was really nicely decorated, well kept, spacious and clean. Communication with Lorenzo was great, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about his home town. Around a 20 minute walk from the main train station in Pisa, with a huge well stocked and reasonably priced supermarket (COOP) just a few minutes walk away. There were also a few restaurants locally (and a bar almost next door!) if you didn't want to walk back into town.
Just a couple of very small niggles: Although the apartment building was nice enough (clean and well kept), the location itself was very noisy due to being next to a major road. If you're a light sleeper you might want somewhere a little quieter! If you don't want to walk or get public transport back in to the centre of Pisa, it would be worth finding somewhere closer to the centre in the first place, but don't be put off staying here if you take the above in to account!

Niente, tutto perfetto!
