The property is right on the lake. We loved sitting on the deck in the evening. Plenty of room with three full bathrooms. It wasn’t far from a lot of activities.

It wasn’t as clean as expected. Some of the furniture was starting to show some wear.

The location was the highlight of our stay. The resort is large enough to be considered a small village. Our unit (29) was situated on the edge of the cove, closer to open water, which provided us with a fantastic view. Although the host seemed hesitant to label it a lake view, it was undoubtedly a waterfront property with a stunning lake view. Another great aspect was the spaciousness of the unit. Additionally, the resort offered a wide range of amenities to meet our needs, and the host was very attentive, frequently checking in on us and responding promptly to our messages.

I wouldn't say I disliked this experience. It's important to have realistic expectations. The property is quite old, and so are the furnishings and amenities. However, we prioritized nature, the view, and the location over the features of the property. Upgraded and renovated facilities are available on-site.

Door code made it easy to access

We were moved to a different unit than we reserved due to maintenance issues, which was fine (they called us before arrival). The unit we were moved to was called a three-bedroom, 3-bath, which was not true. It was a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath with an open loft with a bed (no privacy and right above the kitchen/living room, so very noisy). The place needed some TLC. The blinds were broken and missing the attachments to open them- they were difficult to operate. The bathroom towels were so small that they should have been a hand towel, not a bath towel. There is a table and three chairs on the balcony, which for this size of unit was not enough chairs. The comforter and blanket for the pull-out couch were wadded up and thrown on the closet floor, which made it look like they were not cleaned/changed after the last guest. The outside lighting is not working on the steps, making it so dark that we had to use our phone flashlights to see them. Seems no one takes pride in maintaining the facility.
