Zhangjiajie Yu Realm Hotel - Ancient Charm - Modern Luxury - Your Perfect Journey - A single pick-up or drop-off

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamers.

Kussens zijn groot (smaak) en de regendouche fluctueerde tussen warm en lauw ipv dat het een constante temperatuur had.

The staff were the best. They were always smiling, they were friendly, accommodating and helped with laundry. Breakfast opened early for those who had early excursions. The room size was great and it is a good location for access to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Qixing Mountain via Ferrata and Great Wall. The manager was lovely; he was the one who showed me to my room and gave me the hotel tour. Free drop-off or pick-up to/from the airport. No complaints at all.

This small hotel is located near the gates to Avatar mountains and is 5 min walk to the Main Street with many cafes, restaurants and shops - this was very convenient. Our room was spacious and had a large bath, we had view of the mountains, the staff at reception were using special translating tool, so check in was smooth and they explained everything to us. They also helped organise the driver to take us to Furong town.

The bathroom area lacks privacy. The cabins for toilet and shower are separate and sink is in the hallways. There is no private area where you can change your clothes, dry yourself, etc. this was pretty annoying for us. There were insects on the bed, ceiling and in the bath. There was kettle in the room with some cups and tea supplies so we made tea in the evening. The cups were not cleaned during room service and when we asked we got told that they don’t interfere with our stuff. That happened the next day too, so eventually I cleaned our cups in the sink myself. This is extremely strange to make guests clean their cups. Everything in the room needs to be cleaned during room service.
