Great location in Palermo, right on the main tourist street. Kitchen had good cooking equipment and the basics for cooking (like olive oil). It was nice on a 2month holiday to be able to home cook for a couple of nights.
Communication from the host pre arrival was great and we were met at the property and given a detailed walk through of the property and security (how to get into the apartment complex).
A big reason for booking this apartment was to do some loads of washing and there was a washing machine.
The washing machine was shared with the other apartments owned by the host and there were restrictions on when it could be used so as not to disturb other guests. We worked around it. It was a washer/dryer but I couldn’t figure out how to use the dryer as instructions were in Italian. But there were plenty of airers and space to hang wet clothes. This was not a big deal, but just to let others know.

Apartment was clean, spacious and beautiful. Very easy to get anywhere in the city center with many shops and restaurants close by. Staff very helpful.
The apartment faced onto a bar downstairs that played music until 1am on the weekends. Earplugs were not adequate to drown out the sound enough that we could sleep.
