You will have the time of your life when you stay at As Time Goes By. This dog-friendly, 5-bedroom home is designed for a multi-generational family to spend time together but also provides areas for privacy, relaxation, and entertainment.
Beds: 3 Kings (2 Masters), 2 Twins, 2 Bunk Bed Sets; 12 Towel Sets provided
TOP LEVEL:
Access the top floor using the elevator which opens on to an airy Great Room with wide-screen TV. The dining table (seats 10) with a door leading to the screened-in porch and sun deck. This porch has a table (seats 6) for outdoor dining. The large kitchen has two dishwashers, a 5-burner cooktop with built-in oven and microwave, 2 sinks and a beverage center. The kitchen bar can seat 3 people to keep the family chefs company as they prepare a meal! Nearby, a Ships Watch has beautiful views to the east, south and west. Another small porch has chairs to watch the spectacular sunsets! Besides the half bath, this floor also has a large King Master Suite with flat-screen TV, a tiled shower, double vanity sinks and large soaking tub. Access to the sun deck is available from this bedroom or from the living room where the view overlooks the 13th fairway of The Currituck Club golf course. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]
MID LEVEL:
This level has a laundry area with utility sink and a den at the center of the floor for extra relaxation room. The second King Master Suite has a walk-in closet and its master bath is designed with a double shower and a vanity with 2 sinks. Across this floor, a King bedroom has deck access to the front and back of the house; it shares a hall shower/tub combo bath with the bedroom that has 2 Bunk Bed sets.
GROUND LEVEL:
A cozy game room features a Pool table and kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator. A bedroom with 2 Twin beds and a hall bath are available on this level. A spacious private pool measures 16' x 30' (pool open May to mid-October; pool heat is available for an additional fee), hot tub and outdoor shower are just the beginning of the many wonders you will experience at this pet-friendly home. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles.

As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. Golfers in the family can make reservations to play the 18-hole course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

The house was very nice, but you had to download an app and "refresh" to get the codes for the gate. The app did not provide the updated "refreshed" codes when we arrived between 9 and 10 pm and we couldn't get to the house. Not a good arrival at all. The app also did not provide the updated code later for the next week since we stayed over a week. I had to call the rental company. We liked the house and pool, the elevator and that it was pet friendly, but not the app.

Our stay was good! Great location, loved the gated community with golf course and the grocery store in walking distance. We loved also everyone had their own space to stretch out and of course the elevator. There were a few item that stuck out, one the couches and chaired needed to be cleaned, and bath rackets weren’t strong enough to hold the bath towels. No blender or crock pot and a few other items missing in the kitchen. Overall we were satisfied with our Thanksgiving week stay.

Loved the house, very clean. Had some extra amenities like lots of pool toys , beach chairs and blackstone grill! Very well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. The minor issues we had were handled right away by Paramount Destinations. Loved the easy check-in and check-out process. The community was beautiful!

What a beautiful neighborhood. This house was tucked away with a roomy pool where we spent most of our days. The inside of the house was large and spacious, making it so the 7 that tagged along with me didn’t feel crowded. The house could have been a bit cleaner, with some spots on the couch, cobwebs, and mildew/mold on outside chairs. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay more than expected. There’s a Harris Teeter right by the entrance, so location was spot on. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for the shuttle to come take us to the beach. The neighborhood has sidewalks which was nice since we brought our dog. Overall, we would most definitely book here again. One thing to share with future guests - spiders lovvveeddd crawling in our pool noodles at night, so recommend bringing those in at night if you have some.
