The Neighborhood:
Puerto del Carmen, once a quiet fishing village, has grown into one of Lanzarote’s most charming holiday destinations—without losing its soul. Thanks to strict zoning laws, the town has avoided the sprawl of high-rise hotels, preserving its low-rise, whitewashed character and coastal charm.

Perfect for young families, the resort boasts long, golden beaches with shallow waters near the shore and deeper sections for stronger swimmers. The old harbour is still the heart of the town, lined with seafood restaurants, tapas bars, and cafés where you can watch boats drift in and out.

Wander through the narrow backstreets and you'll find a mix of boutique shops, artisan markets, and relaxed hangouts. Whether you're after a quiet retreat or vibrant nightlife, Puerto del Carmen delivers—with a balance of traditional style and modern comfort that makes it ideal for villa holidays with a bit of everything.
