Domaine Château du Bois Provence

My husband and I stayed here for two nights (only two, sadly, thanks to the airport control chaos we missed a night) a week ago. We thought it was wonderful. It was so peaceful and tranquil (miles from anywhere, so very unspoilt) and the views are exceptional - we could see the sunset right over the Alps with layers of mountains in between. In summer there would be lavender fields flowering right outside. The family who run this place were brilliant and keep it so beautifully clean including the pristine white stairs. There was a pool table and football game and the most delightful huge jacuzzi, sauna and spa, which guests could book for one hour slots, not to mention the most elegant dark blue swimming pool and lounger and easy chairs with fat cushions. We ate dinner in the pretty conservatory prepared by the in-house chefs, who kindly altered the set menu to accommodate me being vegetarian and made delicious dinners both nights. Everything was so clean and so beautifully designed, thought out and tasteful and all natural colours and styles. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable with the same wonderful views. It was just gorgeous and though we try never to go back anywhere (there's so much world to see!) I'd go back here anytime. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Honestly nothing. And I'm pretty picky.

The food was phenomenal, the breakfasts were included and I thought the dinner was a very fair price for the quality. The property was absolutely beautiful and the amenities were very nice, i specifically liked the sauna, the hot tub, and the electric bikes.

The property is definitely remote. It wasn't an issue for us because we wanted to just relax and enjoy the amenities but just something for others to be aware of.

Le domaine est magnifique et très bien équipé. La situation géographique est apaisante et propice à la détente ainsi qu'à la pratique de sports en plein air (trail, vélo, randonnées...). Enfin, le personnel a été attentionné tout au long du séjour.

Rien, hormis la route d'accès qui est un peu difficile en voiture (étroite avec des virages), mais cela fait partie du charme.

L’accueil absolument charmant de nos hôtes, discret mais à l’écoute. Demeure superbement rénovée et avec goût. Le calme absolu face à la nature et aux champs de lavande malheureusement récoltés. Chambre confortable, bien équipée. Nous y reviendrons. Merci à Marilou et à son compagnon.

Le petit déjeuner s’est amélioré au fil des jours mais reste perfectible.
