Exceptionally clean, it smelled amazing when we arrived! The bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve stayed in away from home and we loved the sofa so much we’ve found it online and are contemplating buying one it was so comfy 😅 the small heater was great as well for cooler evenings, nice quiet location but a short drive from everything you need, would definitely stay again

Nice location, parking space that didn't get blocked all week, no noise from other properties.

There was an issue with the shower drainage but that was resolved with the emergency contact. Could do with an airer for drying washing on rainy days

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay that was perfect for my elderly father. The thoughtful accommodation extras and welcome gifts were very greatly received and made our stay extra special.

We didn’t find anything to dislike

This was, without a doubt, one of the loveliest places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we opened the door, it didn’t feel like a holiday rental – it felt like coming home. The cottage is cosy, beautifully decorated and incredibly clean, with so much thought and care put into every little detail. The welcome was absolutely wonderful. There was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the fridge, delicious fresh scones with jam, and the kitchen was stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, sauces and all the little essentials you might need. What really touched us was how welcome our dogs were made to feel. Their water bowl had already been filled with fresh water and ice, and they even had treats waiting for them. It’s rare to find somewhere that is so genuinely dog-friendly, and those thoughtful touches meant so much to us. Everything about the cottage felt warm, comfortable and relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Cornwall, and every evening we looked forward to coming “home.” Thank you for creating such a special place. It’s clear that this isn’t just a holiday cottage – it’s somewhere that’s been prepared with real care and kindness. We made some wonderful memories here and will definitely be back. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.
