Kampot Origin

Kong is a truly wonderful host, kind, caring and incredibly generous. If anything, I think he’s underselling himself compared to what he actually offers. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained, with crisp white bed linen and towels (I wish I had taken pictures). The property is newly built, so everything feels fresh and brand new. I’ve stayed at a few different properties in Kampot, and this one by far felt the most luxurious, especially compared with some places charging even more per night. Kong went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. He let me check in three hours earlier than the standard check-in time and even extended my check-out until 7pm at no extra cost 🥹. He also took the time to teach me how to ride a scooter and let me practise for as long as I wanted. Kong, I cannot thank you enough for making my Kampot experience even better, and I’m genuinely grateful for you and your families kindness. And, for anyone who is reading this review, please don’t let the distance from town put you off as it’s only around 10–15 minutes by tuk-tuk which shouldn't cost you more than a couple of $. Very highly recommended.

I liked everything about the property

Der Gastgeber ist außerordentlich hilfsbereit und war stets um mein Wohlbefinden bemüht. Das Zimmer ist groß, modern, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage

Clean accommodations, spacious rooms, clean sheets and towels. Fresh bottles of water are provided every day, and breakfast is included. There isn’t a bar, but you have a refrigerator in your room so you can relax outside for a while. Scooters are available, and the host goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable.
