Paradise Hotel

the owner of the place is very lovely and friendly however it seemed he was in a bit of denial that anything was wrong. our shower flooded the whole room because the drain was blocked but also the door was too small for the doorway and left big gaps for the water to go through. we told him about this and he understood and was nice and sent a woman to clean the water and unblock the drain and it didn’t really work so it flooded again. then, i realised i had loads of bites on my back and arms and they look exactly like bedbug bites but i only realised in the middle of the night so i couldn’t do much about it, i told him in the morning and he made it seem like it was impossible that they were from here (they def were), maybe had come from a recent guest or something, i’m not sure lastly, the breakfast we got there was a bit basic (bread and simple scrambled eggs), it was good but just not really worth the price of 4.50$ ! (not super expensive but compared to usual prices it’s crazy). to be fair the menu does say bread and scrambled eggs with the price on it but with that price you kind of imagine it to be a little more interesting. overall, i wouldn’t recommend it for those reasons but the pool table was entertaining and the bar area is good and yes, like i said, the man was lovely.
